Emmanuel Blankson is a seasoned finance executive with over 21 years of diverse experience spanning banking, insurance, and accounting. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of National Investment Bank (NIB) Ghana, where he plays a central role in financial transformation, capital restructuring, and enterprise performance management. Emmanuel is widely respected for his results-driven leadership, particularly in steering organizations through turnaround phases and aligning financial strategy with corporate growth objectives.
Before joining NIB, Emmanuel held several executive and senior finance roles across the Ghanaian financial services industry, including:
Acting CFO and Financial Controller at First Atlantic Bank.
General Manager for Internal Audit at Heritage Bank Ghana.
He has led major initiatives such as:
Capital recovery planning and institutional restructuring.
IFRS-based financial reporting and strategy execution.
Overseeing large finance teams and cross-functional mandates.
Emmanuel is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) and holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Leicester, UK. His educational background also includes a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from the University of Cape Coast. He has participated in global executive training programmes, including INSEAD’s Strategy in Digital Disruption course.
He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Intravenous Infusion PLC. His cross-functional experience and deep understanding of corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance make him an invaluable contributor to the oversight and strategic guidance at Algebra Capital.
